I've had this done for about a month but hadn't posted it yet. I really like the look and idea of SG Sideswipe, given how they used the Armada Wheeljack mold when they made the original SG Sideswipe and made him be a former evil Autobot who switched sides to the heroic Decepticons I chose to base mine of that version to. He didn't turn out as clean as I wanted mainly because the gloss gray finish was somewhat ruined by the masking tape I used, the custom water-based mint green I mixed up for my airbrush caused me some issues such as bleeding under tape and etc. Trying to mask off areas with tape on figures is really hard to do in a clean fashion like I do on my helmets and etc so some areas aren't as crisp as I want. Idk if it's just the mold or my version of Sunstreaker but the screw that holds the hips to the crotch piece seems to loosen itself very easily, so I often have to reattach the legs whenever I transform it. I used a custom head and faux chest I ordered from shapeways. Also, in reference to the original SG Sideswipe/Armada Wheeljack I used various tools to cut a physical slash into both the real and fake hoods. The actual hood is a much deeper cut and was much easier to make as the fake one doesn't shave as effortlessly. In addition, I physically cut the Autobot logos with some scissors to simulate the slash mark and the area that would be missing as a result. I don't know when I'll get to painting my next figure or when I'll have an update on the Constructicons because I usually end up waiting until I get an idea before work on them.
