Anti-MCU people, particularly the very idiotic ones, like to say the name "M-SHE-U," because they think the MCU is replacing all of their characters with women...let's take a look at that, shall we?

Hulk: Bruce is still around and still being Hulk
Hawkeye: Clint is still around and still being Hawkeye
Dr. Strange: Clea is Dr. Strange's love interest and successor in the comics and Dr. Strange is still being Dr. Strange
Black Panther: T'Challa is literally dead. And yes, while I would have preferred it if they just recast T'Challa, I appreciate them deciding to build story around it
Thor: Jane Foster dies at the end of the movie and Thor is still Thor
Iron Man: Tony is literally dead and we are given no implication that either Rescue or Iron Heart are replacing Iron Man

Notice how all of these either have a reason for the replacement or aren't replacements at all? It's almost like this title was originated by a moronic grifter and then people started using it unironically. As Sandy Cheeks once said, "Stupidity isn't a virus, but it sure is spreading like one."
