Description The 11.7/33.6 NJ, 6 Shot, Top-Break Service Revolver, Model 5, Year 9,760 CFE (or more commonly shortened to just the Service Revolver), was the standard issued side-arm for the Chozoan Auxiliary Legions until it was replaced the cheaper Model 20 Service Pistol. While mostly replaced, the Service Revolver continued to see service as existing stocks were used up. The original standard pistol round was the Type 5D round, a powerful flat shooting round. The Chozoans felt that a more powerful round would increase stopping power and range. The new round was titled the Type 7M and was intended for use only with the Machine Pistol while the original 5D rounds were to be used for standard sidearms, though since both rounds were identical in size and shape, the Chozoans modified their pistols to be able to safely fire the newer ammo to prevent misfires. The Service Revolver however, was not converted to accept this new, more powerful round, and many accident occurred causing the pistol to gain a reputation of being unsafe and prone to misfires.
