"Untamed" (Done in Markers, Colored Pencil & Gel Pen)Part 3: My first attempt at realism and it's finally finished. Probably not the best idea to do a progression piece when you are trying something for the first time (because everyone can potentially watch you fall flat on your face, step by step lol). But I truly believed I could do it... and now I can go back to being a lazy cartoonist .

That is SUPER-friggin' cool, especially the black bits- the way you did the highlights there make it look almost photographic! I like how it's more detailed up close and faded the further away the cat's body is. You really captured the expression and eyes of the animal, too!

^ Jabroniville: Yes, the the blurring out in the back is supposed to resemble how the camera blurs out when focused in on the face. My friends and family love this one, and think I should do more of these. Maybe once in awhile when I get inspired I might, but I don't particularly enjoy this style of art. It's painstaking, and I did this one just to prove that I could. Thank you so much for your insight!
