110112A - Corpse Bride Study

This doesnt really count as my daily, though at a push maybes it will, it is getting pretty close to midnight here.

Desperately needed to do some study from ref, its been too long, and this has made me double take a bit on the daft mistakes I've been making lately (Even if I havent pushed it to as much texture detail depth as I'd have liked to for learning purposes :/) .

Its always a bit awkward going from someone elses character, I know I havent really captured what makes this dude this dude in this, copying from a photo ref doesnt have the same gesture flow as doing it from life or from ones head.

Random side note- It actually surprised me how much a year of UI ( which is mostly about fitting things into the exact right place in a very limited amount of space, with even a pixel too high or low potentially ruining everything ) has helped me draw more accurately from ref/life ( where you pretty much have to do the same thing, except luckily you have some ref there to help you :[ )
