This is Evo, the only one of my creations who I would call a character. She's been around since Christmas 2005.

I created her only a couple of months after I joined Elfwood. I'd seen other people with original characters and felt I should have one of my own. I wanted her to be unique; something that was both monstrous but adorable and sweet.

P.S. This is the finished piece. No colour and no background. No colour because I've only ever thought of her in black and white. She will never be coloured now. No background because I couldn't think of anything suitable and it would clash with her.

P.P.S. I got pedantic with the butterfly. I wanted to show exactly how tall she is. It's Ornithoptera chimaera one of the large birdwing butterflies that live in PNG. You can probably guess why I chose that particular species. Evo stands 1.6m tall.
