Jovian Star. Acting as the “Ghidorah” of Ink Field comes Jovniova, “The Being from Outer Space!” I’ve mentioned before that I wanted Ink Field to take place in dark future of 50s B monster movie setting, with that I love how in the early 20th century the other planets were used to be inhabitable in fiction. With Jupiter being my favorite planet, found it fitting to make Jovniova to be from there. Normally found floating in Jupiter’s upper atmosphere, filtering the helium from the air while recharging off the intense storms there. However Earth has caught this being’s attention in the form of the thousands of space debris littering the planet’s orbit. Helium residue from discarded nuclear-fusion thrusters and radioactive decaying materials. Jovniova have its pickings at the leftovers before throwing them away, usually causing debris to fall back into the Earth’s atmosphere. Resulting random and periodic strikes from the sky and terrorizing the people below. It is feared what would happen should the kaiju decided to enters the atmosphere itself. From its “Gravitoelectromagnetic” field the being could produce an anticyclone equal to those found on the giant gas it origins from, adding greater devastation to an already declining biosphere.
