Resident hairbrained scientist of the Autobots. Ironic that among the hundreds of suitible candidates he was the scientist chosen to join Optimus' team directly, as far as his standing in the Autobot scientist communitee he is afterall the worst scientist by far. His theories are the worst kind of popular tripe, his methods are sloppy, and his conclusions are highly questionable! He is a poor scientist....but damn is he a hell of a fighter. In fact it's mostly his pedagree in rough and tough brawling that landed him the spot in Team Optimus. And for as poor a scientist as he is he's still able to work miracles in a pitch, his tendancy to ignore traditional scientific logic producing interesting results. It also helps that Ratchet is there to back him up when things go wrong (much to Ratchet's dismay of course).
