One of a seemingly rare breed, Soundwave is utterly loyal to Megatron. He is always willing to do what Megatron orders him to do and is always speaking on Megatron's behalf. He even supports Megatron's personal vendettas and will do all in his power to assist his leader in carrying out said vendettas in the most efficient (and cruelest) ways possible. Because of his nature as a "brown-nose", not a single Decepticon likes Soundwave at all, the only Decepticons that do like him are his small entourage of Minicon partners. Still, he does his job and follows orders without question, Megatron isn't exactly lenient towards anything less than that.

Clearly, those of you who are arguing over Rumble's/Frenzy's color scheme(s) are missing the obvious answer: the two swap colorsΒ irregularly, just to screw with the Autobots (and occasionally, their fellow Decepticons). There's no pattern, because keeping the Autobots confused about which of the two is which (and subsequently, how to neutralize the unique threat each poses) suggests a strategic advantage in swapping colors... either that, or they alternate colors whenever they feel like doing so.

ACTUALLY..... it's Rumbe is Red, Frenzy is Blue.
I say this because the ORIGINAL TOYLINE, had Frenzy as BLUE and Rumble as Red.... and since the toys are what they wanted to SELL IN THE FIRST PLACE, so they MADE the cartoon... it's canon that RIRFIB!

I actually walked out of RotF in disgust when Welker's Soundwave voice came on un-synthesized. and for other reasons as well, but that was the major one.
I actually prefer the TF Prime Soundwave to the others (save G1, of course) as at least he doesn't talk at all, maintaining Soundwave's "silent, cool, brutal"-ness which is also so awesome.
