Description
EDIT; I've decided to give this design a bit of fixing in some ares as well as add in a new Zord for the Nanorangers to use. Did this in Manga Studio Debut.

This is the NanoBeast Megazord as well as its alternate configuration the DragonTech Megazord, official giant robot of the NanoRangers; [link] [link] [link] [link] [link] .

NANOBEAST MEGAZORD;
Red Nanolion -Head, Torso, Hands
Pink Nanopenguin -Head Crest, Dash Thruster Pack, Agility Stabilization Armor, Laser Pistol
Blue Nanopacyderm -Torso Armor, Arms, Buster Cannon
Yellow Nanowarthog -Feet
Yellow Nanomerkat -Main Sword Weapon
Black Nanobear -Legs
The standard gestalt robot used by the NanoRangers. The Yellow Warthog Zord actually splits in half, it's lower jaw becoming the right foot and it's upper head becoming the left foot, both halfs contain wheels that allow the megazord to literally drive across the ground at incredible speed. The Black Grizzly Zord forms the legs and give the megazord incredible leg strength and dexterity/flexibility, it packs quite a nasty kick to boot^-^. The Pink Penguin Zord's body becomes the megazord's thrust pack on the back side, giving the megazord rocket powered dashing ability that allows it to quickly dodge on foot or to leap into the air at extreme altitudes, it can also detach from the back and be used as a double barrel laser pistol. The Blue Pacyderm Zord forms the torso arms and armor as well as providing the central NanoBreaker Laser located on the chest, the front breastplate of the armor can pivot upward and reconfigure into a powerful NanoBuster Cannon using the pacyderm's trunk as the gun barrel. The Red Lion Zord forms the hands, inner torso and head, the claws can be used in melee combat and can unleash devastating bursts of plasma energy with each punch. The Yellow Meerkat Zord pretty much has one function, forming the NanoBeast Masamune which is the megazord's ultimate weapon used mainly for the finishing move "NanoBeast Vorpal Annihilation" (the megazord first fakes out the monster by implimenting a forward charge or a cannon blast, then disappears before coming out of nowhere to deliver a fatal slash [usually from the sky] to cut the monster completely in half).

As you no doubt have noticed there is a bit of a theme with the beast zords for the NanoRangers, primarily that they are based on Disney (animal) characters. My initial concept for the NanoRangers had originally zords that draw from the spirits of Simba, Timon, Pumbaa, Baloo and Louie. Yes, one of the zords was originally an orangatang....and it would have been used by the Pink Ranger which just didn't seem right so I caned the ape and went with a penguin. The Blue Ranger originally had the bear. I also originally had a Green Ranger that would have had the warthog zord but in the end I turned the Green Ranger Black and gave him the bear instead, gave the Blue Ranger an elephant and let the Yellow Ranger control both the meerkat and warthog zord. So now it's Simba, Timon, Pumbaa, Baloo, Tantor and...a nameless penguin which to be honest was inspired by Cody Maverick from "Surf's Up". I like penguins for some reason.

The alternate configuration of the NanoBeast Megazord that mainly substitutes the Red Nanolion with the Green Nanochameleon, a unique Zord that is created by the same "DragonTech" developed by the reptilian race the Ryukron. This very Zord as well as the DragonTech Ranger [link] that commands it were created as a means for the Ryukron to finally join the other races in the Side Universe Alliance in the fight against evil. While the Nanochameleon is commanded by the DragonTech Ranger, he is not required to actually pilot it and, in fact the Red NanoRanger is able to pilot it in its Megazord configuration so that the synchronization of the five NanoRangers is not broken during battle (though when necessary the DragonTech Ranger can stand in for the Red NanoRanger in the cockpit).

Naturally the purpose of the DragonTech Megazord configuration is full on flight. The Blue Pacyderm Zord's trunk is now used as a full on jetpack thruster that allows the Magazord to fly through the sky at berserk speed. The Green NanoChameleon's hind legs form the wings of the Megazord, naturally it allows the Megazord to control its trajectory during flight but at the same time giving it four blade weapons to utilize in flight. The tail of the NanoChameleon becomes the powerful DragonTech Bustergun, fitted with the Pink Penguin's head this otherwise recoil heavy buster rifle gains an increase accuracy and stabilization. This Megazord has two finishers, the "DragonTech Nova Storm" utilizes the Bustergun, Penguin Laser Pistol and even the energy emitting horns on the head to fire off three beams of pure destructive power to decimate a target, if that fails it can utilize the "DragonTech Silent Zantetsuken" which has the entire Megazord turning invisible and getting in close for a fatal slashing spin attack using the wings' blades and the head's horns.

Admittedly I was drawing influence from a lesser known Digimon design known as "chameleonmon" but only because as far as chameleons that design is visually damn good. As for the Megazord itself, well, yeah, it's a clear homage to the Dragon Zord from Zyuranger/Might Morphing Power Rangers. I really need to find that blasted sixth NanoRanger linart I drew and get it colored, I know it's arround here somewhere...
