oh wow i didn't even notice the dome. That makes her a mature MALE pachycephalosaurus. I just went by basic body shape and prominent head spikes and knew it was in the stygimoloch-dracorex family

Oh, the irony. Then again, much like Shockwave freaking out over the carbon-based life forms, Pachycephapplejack's dome is probably for humor only.

Seriously, the Prehistoric Six are lucky that's not TFP Shockwave. Otherwise, they'd be getting dissected right now and used as templates for some kind of new and improved cyborg Predacon or something.

I noticed. But it fits the theme better if she's a dinosaur - besides, the mighty Terry already said that he was using this as an excuse to draw the Mane Six (and Spike) as dinosaurs. Given that Pinkie's an Archeopteryx, Rainbow Dash is a pterosaur, and Spike's a monkey, a dragon more or less counts as a dinosaur, too (even without considering a trope that implies the opposite).

Also, I couldn't think of a good name pun for a dragon/Fluttershy hybrid. (Apart from "Dragonshy", but that's too obvious.)
