Now reawakened as the First Maximal, the young Simba has obtained an awareness of the very planet he inhabits. It turns out that all sentient life on this "Beast Planet" are not truly organic but organic machines. Normally they exist as normal animals that live, breed and die like anything else, but upon introducing a residual reformating code their technorganic flesh fully activates and take on Cybertronian properties.

This very knowledge and possession of the Maximal Reformation Code has shifted his destiny far away from that of his own people and friends. And above all else it is he who must now hunt down the elusive Malicron and his new legion of Predacons. And even as he finds new suitable allies to share in his exploits he is still quite alone, in fact he has never felt more alone in his life...
