TYRRANUX UNIVERSE [HEROES ERA] PROFILE #003; PETER PARKER (SPIDERMAN)VOICE OVER; Joshua Seth
THEME SONG; Linkin Park "What I've Done"
He can still remember that laugh, that horrible, horrible laugh. It is the very reason he is finally taking the responsibility his great power demands of him.
He did not exactly understand the very magnitude of the very appearace of this murderous clown everyone is taking about, at the time he wasn't even in the superhero business. A normal teenager taking his new gift for granted, the bite of that genetically altered Ambrosia-infused spider was being wasted on pursuits of easy money through a local professional wrestling league. That fatal night, he saw what looked like a punk in a purple gakuran dressed in clown make-up robbing the wrestling manager's office, it had nothing to do with him. But had he known who that clown really was or what he was then going to do......well, it's too late now, he cannot go back and correct his fatal mistake.
He was consumed by revenge, there would be nothing stopping him from seeking down this fiend and avenging Uncle Ben. But what he found was not some random clown...what he found was the very definition of insanity-driven evil. Feeling this man had to be destroyed by any means nessecary he allowed his anger to consume him, letting himself become a feral beast just to match the sheer brutality this mad clown was surprisingly capable of. He was able to overpower the madman, his spider-like powers giving him the edge and the means to end this clown's reign of terror once and for all...it was at this point the Dark Knight swooped in and stopped the young webhead from making yet another horrible mistake.
It's rather surprising, that it would take the horrific actions of an infamous psychopath like the self-proclaimed Prince of Crime to finally get this irresponsible teen to finally take up his mantle of the spider for the sake of justice. But it is also the words of both his dearly departed Uncle Ben and the Batman that have changed young Peter's priorities in life, he finally appreciates the gift he was given and has dedicated his life to the responsibility such great power has given him.
But no matter what he does from here on out, there is nothing he can do about that laugh, that horrible cackle that still haunts him to his very core. He will face other great evils in his lifetime, but none of them by far will ever truly have such an impact as that mad clown who killed Uncle Ben...

This is just a little something I whipped up. I have decided that this is the design for Tyrranux Universe Spiderman.
Basically this is just my interpretation of the Friendly Neighborhood Wall-Crawler. I have this habit where no matter what I draw it must be sort of this Japanese Anime style I've developed, I find myself to the point where I can't just draw a character like Spidey the way he usually is and instead have to draw such characters in my own way (which has had overall varied results).
So escentially I wanted to draw him in a manga-style that didn't stray (nor go) too far from the iconic visual that everyone recognizes so well. The symbol on his chest is perhaps the most radically-changed part about him, I pretty much turned it into some weird looking kanji that resembles a spider (I for one like it).
I basically turned his outfit into a t-shirt and a pair of sweatpants which given the very nature of Peter Parker's less than stellar lifestyle seems to make this costume a bit more plausable (as opposed to say the movie costume which looks like it costed him more than his usual paycheck allows I'm sure).
All in all I am very pleased with how it turned out (despite the crappy scanner I got which pretty much drained out the orange I used in the shading [bastard]), I hope if I would draw other superheroes that they turn out just as nice as Spidey did here.

This version of Spider-Man is more serious than his mainstream incarnation.

where's his sleeves!?! Now his identity is narrowed down to any white man in the U.S. Still, good drawing. like the spider symbol.

Yeah, my only complaint is he has no sleeves. He needs the sleeves to completely cover his identity.
That way he can make a, "Because I'm black," prank on J.J.J. when he's finally taken to court for his constant libel.

Speaking of Marvel Superheroes, could you try drawing Captain America? I would like to see your version of him.
