A speed paint I did in about 3 hours- this horrid thing is an idea that popped in my head for my Winter Echoes story. It's basically some poor bloke who's become part hand. Walking around on his finger nails (which are very hard by the way) have caused damage to the fingers/arms/legs, causing the flesh to split.Don't really know what was going on with the face though... that just appeared as I went along. Hmmm... lovely.

You'd probably like some of my stuff, which has a similar feel to this. I'm always being told I should get into game design - I never played SH myself but the concept struck a chord with me.

Yup, Silent Hill has some awesome monsters (shame about the gameplay!), was inspired by some of the wierder creations

Well, you're meant to run away from most of them I think- or avoid them altogether. But yeah, the combat was clunky beyond belief- Just finished SH5- and although the combat is a bit better- everything else is worse!
When will they ever learn?

Haha I bought SH3 once just to see what it was like and I had to play it with the sound off otherwise I'd jump at everything and never get anywhere

im not so sure about the lower body or the head/face, but i have to say i absolutely love the finger arm/legs standing on the fingernails with the split skin concept. i think this thing should have been in silent hill tbf! (but maybe with the head and body done a little different in my opinion)
love the painting style btw

Thanks man- the idea was to have them vaguely resemble humans- or at least parts of humans- hence why the head and body are of a normal-ish shape (think this guy was a bit tubby before he... changed).
I was partially inspired by silent hill to be honest- I don't think much of the games (Is it wierd I don't find them scary- AT ALL?), but I love the concept and ideas of it.
