Thank you very much! I had never done a drawing of a city at night before this, so it was A lot of learning through trial and error. I was was mainly inspired by the depiction of Neo Tokyo in Akira. The backgrounds in that movie still blow my mind with how detailed and beautifully painted they are.

You're very welcome! I've done several cityscapes using pen and pencil. I'm actually glad I found someone who was also inspired by Neo-Tokyo in Akira. It's my favorite anime film and I was also blown away by the scope and detail of the entire city. Akira will never cease to amaze...
