Not much. I started trying to write again, but I am not as inspired as I once was.
Am working on that.
I spend most evenings helping my two grand-daughters with their homework.
I know, sounds boring to you, but I actually enjoy it.
Since I stopped teaching, I miss it, and this allows me to use my skills to teach them.
It's fun for me.
Other than that, not much.
My dad drove in from Texas to visit for a few days, so that was nice.
You probably need to get rested up, so in October, you'll be ready to go again.
I hope to see lots of photos of this trip and the next.
How's that darling little baby of yours?
Growing fast, I bet...

I don't think it's boring at all... I think teaching is a great trade... I love being involved in the development of someone else's mind... In fact I've been meaning to teach music at my old high school but I just don't have the time right now... I think it's pretty cool you do that!..
Cool that you got to see your dad... small doses right?? hahaha... 
Baby is fine!!.. thanks so much for asking.... Yeah... she's growing so fast!!... I love watching pics of here when she was 1 month old... it's amazing how fast she changed in 9 months...

Great.
Sometime in the future when things slow down a bit for you, you really should teach at your high school, I know you would love it.
It sounds so corny, but it really does feel good helping young people in their education.
Education has always been very important to me, even before I went to college.
My main thing is getting kids to read, including my grand-daughters.
Their entire lives, I have gotten them good books every birthday and X-mas, along with the toys and stuff, so that they will have plenty to read at all times.
My youngest, Mikayla, is 10 now, and she reads for about 30 minutes in bed every night before going to sleep.
I couldn't be more proud.
Your little girl will be that age before you know it!!
I know you will, but treasure each and every moment you have with her, because the time will absolutely get away from you, and it will fly by without you even realizing it.
There will come a day when you'll see her walking up to the school or something, and you will think, "OMG! when did she get so big???"
My son is almost 34 years old, and I still think about how sweet he was as a baby, toddler, and little boy.
He's a man now, with a wife and two kids of his own, but that feeling never goes away, he'll always be my baby boy.
