The House of Pain's US Jailbreak server was finally shut down due to a bunch of people who had nothing better to do than to try and DoS it all the time. intox's two Jailbreak servers also remain down because those people are also probably DoS'ing their servers ever since Shibby2142 made videos for it. There are other servers: House of Pain's EU server remains active, the Outpost now has a server of their own, xTcR just launched two more Jailbreak servers with their first one for TF2, pbgaming has two non-VAC servers, Gamers-Israel's may or may not be active, Kablowsion's which was launched around the same time as intox's is still around, and XenoGamers just launched a new server of their own.

To the people who DDoS/DoS'd our servers and intox's servers: leave these servers alone.

There's been politics between Jailbreak servers every now and then based on comparisons. Theodore, the guy who founded House of Pain and made most of the maps each TF2 Jailbreak server plays on, did not give two flying fucks on competing with anyone. He supported every community who brought Jailbreak servers into TF2 and continues to do so, even when politics and drama were started. Originally, this poster was meant for HoPJB's US server every time it got DoS'd. But this is the real message he would have wanted sent to the DoS'ers, and while I may not agree with every decision the man makes, I will sure as hell stand by this man's support for the gamemode he ported and fought to remain in TF2.

My loyalty was sworn to the House of Pain so every now and then you'll see me whining and bitching on other servers when I'm scouting them, but for Pete's sake, this is a game mode people genuinely enjoy and partake in. Do not deny them of that simply because you think the servers are lame or you're butthurt over a ban you felt like you didn't deserve. Get over it, these servers exist for you then and if you get banned by more than two Jailbreak servers, maybe you're the one doing something wrong. Prefer GMod or Counterstrike Jailbreak? Go back to those, they have DDoS attacks even more frequently but at least they're plentiful and more balanced if you think they're better than TF2 Jailbreak servers. Don't like the mod? Fine, go back to regular TF2 or other mods. There's always TF2Ware, Deathrun, The Hidden, x10, Balloon Hunt, and Prophunt.

You may not like Jailbreak, and that's completely understandable and I would even support some of your reasons as to why you don't if you told me. But leave the people who like to play Jailbreak alone.
