This intended to be entered into the DIMG "Your Take" contest, but due to some extreme lack of clarity about the submission process, I didn't enter. So I have this little image here I can do whatever I like with.

Obviously, it's the mad tea party. The contest was to redesign any from a list of characters from Alice in Wonderland (in a Disney-like demographic, of course).

I did Alice and the hatter because while I ADORE American McGee's Alice as a game, I think there yet remain other depictions that haven't been drawn yet and I'm tired of seeing only art based on AM:A or Disney's version. Also, Johnny Depp's depiction of the hatter makes me want to BREAK SOMETHING. I don't remember getting the impression from the book that the Mad Hatter was a gay clown. Thanks for nothing, Tim Burton.

Continuing my tirade on this subject, I was THIS close to applying to Spicy Horse in hopes of working on the next installment of AM:A, but I just don't think I want to live in China--even if the US is becoming less appealing to live in at the moment.
