I am absolutely gobsmacked at the detail in the grass! You've done EACH BLADE individually. Wow!! The sky in the background is gorgeous too...looks like the aurora borealis (if that's how it's spelt, I'm not sure). The pose and expression of the figure are really interesting - the pose says "downhearted" but the expression says "serene". I love the ambiguity

sorry it took my so long to respond... i didn't do each blade individually, it's just a nifty photoshop brush. (i WISH i had the patience to do all that grass like that) i'm really glad that you like the sky, it's my favorite part! it's probably the most realistic sky i've ever done!.
