this is a gift fori thought she looked a little sad in her picture, so i wanted to do something colorful and kindof cheery... if she doesn't normally have a reason to smile, i wanted to give her one!
she told me she wanted colorful, so i went one step further and made her anime.
i hope she likes it...

This is a very good piece. However I do think it could be improved in many small ways that would lend themselves to the image and turn it pretty much photorealistic.
If you run some contrast on the face and show off the light shading it, that would help out immensely and give it a very 3D look that's close to perfection. You have everything else there, so this shouldn't be hard to do at all!
