Synopsis:

Who will make it to the final round? Plus, a bonus story featuring Street Fighter III’s sexy ninja school girl – Ibuki!

This is by far and away the best cover on any of the SF comics. I love it. The texture and detail on the tree, Ibuki's pose, the whole flow of the picture...fan-bloody-tastic.

I never payed much attention to this character before but your beautiful renditions of her have made me change my mind about Ibuki.
One question, was the tree bark a texture or did you draw it by hand?

Omar draws the made blocks of the bark in his line art and then uses texture brushes in layers to build up the effect you see there.

Very time consuming but I can't argue with the results, it is a very inspired piece. I'll have that in mind in my future works. Thanks for taking the time answering my question.

Your local comic store should be able to order back issues from Diamond (the comic distributor). Otherwise, you'll be able to buy a trade paperback of issues #1-6 in the next month or so.
