Here's a coloured character design sheet of Sparkster the Rocket Knight done for Konami's New International Track & Field video game on Nintendo DS. The game is available now and includes online multiplayer as well as single cartridge multiplayer.
The character is shown from several angles and with a variety of expressions to guide the animators who model and animate the character in 3D.

Aw, I remember this little guy. Rocket Knight Adventures on Genesis and Sparkster on SNES were some of the most fun--and hard--platformers I've ever played. They had great music too.
Seeing this makes me want to run out and get the game...and the fact that Omar Dogan did the character designs doesn't hurt either.

Sparkster the character has made a few cameo appearances in several Konami games following RKA and the two Sparkster games, including one of the "modern" Contra games, I believe.

Personally I prefer the old skool Rocket Knight design of the first game, but it's cool to see any RKA stuff from Udon.

No, It's rather the other way around in that case...this lovely character appeared his first time on a SNES console in a game called Rocket Knight or Sparkster.

No, He actually appeared in 1993 in Rocket Knight Adventures for the Genesis. Then the following year he had a sequel called Sparkster, and a spin off on the SNES, with is also called Sparkster. (I'm such a nerd.)

Oh WOW!! I remember this guy! He had a short comic series in the UK's Sonic The Comic back in the mid 90's. It was classic.
It's so good to see this guy again. He really needs a new game all to himself.

I didn't know it existed until i read the comic in STC and during that time of my childhood i was unable to purchase games myself. By the time i was earning my own money the Sega Saturn had already come out, lol. I wonder if this game is on Nintendo Wii's Virtual Console? I should look for it.

What advice do you send to us in the character design ... ?
i mean when we want design character in 2D in different viewer .
Sometimes i find differences in the "view front" and "view side" at the three-dimensional design.
What your advice to solve the problem ?

Most likely UDON doesn't do the 3D part.
If they did, we would get 3D uploads from them sometimes, I guess.
