really like the colors here. Though at times I can't help but think the fire look too solid. Like it's a big stack of organs or something.
Otherwise its pretty much flawless.

I would like to know... why does this guy's name is T. Hawk? and why is it an american indian if he's mexican? I've always wanted to know ... I think this guy is more american than mexican, we don't have bears in Mexico!!! no bald eagles, and if this guy is in the woods... the only place that he could be must be in Ajusco near Mexico city, cause the frontier between USA and Mexico is a big desert.
The art work is fantastic, as always, but I really hate this strange confusion between american indians and mexicans, sorry guys.

American Indians in this context would be referring to the continents of North and South America rather than the United States of America.
Anyway, great picture. It really does look like he's burning a bear carcass though. Shame he's not in Street Fighter IV.

theres not bald eagles on the mexican imaginery of ancestors.
but dont worry, the error comes from Japan.
The real eagle for a mexican its the golden eagle, the oficial bird of Mexico.

te falto decir lo del oso! y que nuestros ancestros no son animales del bosque... digo... la adoración a Quetzalcoatl es muy distinta. La verdad este personaje me crea demasiados conflictos, desde su forma de vestir (indio americano total y absolutamente) hasta su físico!!! nunca he visto a un indígena de 2 metros, corpulento, tez blanca y cara de fuchi.

Lo mas cercano que hay en Mexico, (y no adoraban a Quetrzalcoatl) son los Indios Seris, Pero aun mas cercano seria que es un Indio Yaqui de Sonora, ya que es el pueblo indigena mexicano que es mas parecido a los indigenas gringos. solo que los Yaquis tendrian de adoracion al coyote y al venado, el aguila real entraria por el escudo Mexicano.
se me hace raro que T.Hawk tambien pelee en Guadalajara, en la plaza tapatia con el Hospicio Cabañas a sus espaldas.

something with the colours on these cards coloured by Chris seems kinda off, it doesnt really match the line-art of Joe. Needs more dark values I think.
