yes.. I have to learn to go a bit more simpler. Usually I do a whole bunch of effects and end up removing almost half of them by the time the work is finished. guess more of that is needed

that is your problem. doing one thing and then completely changing it. what i do is write it down and draw it out. i write in great detail of color, composition, elements, how its going to be done, everything, typography, where my logo goes, what is the meaning of the piece. i think you art lacks that a bit. as well as lighting. Also (not to be mean) your colors are way off.

thanks man! Yeah I guess quite often I'm just designing with where ever the flow goes but it seams silly to go against the flow 
Although I remember fussing over this one for a long long time.. was even going to write a paragraph or so on every person this was for and form that text into one design. Not surprisingly there was way too much text and it was a lot simpler to just focus on one line that fits all.
COLOUR! I'm assuming you are implying that my colour is off in general since this is a black & white piece?? Are you referring to using colour palates to have better harmony?
