Chapter Three

  Sans finally told you how he felt, and there he was cuddling you just after he asked you to accept him as a boyfriend. “so, uh, want to go grab some lunch [y/n]” he asked. “Yes, hey didn’t Grillby open a new place up here on the surface, lets go there” you answered. “Think I should change?” “don’t be so Sternum, i like the way you look, especially in my sweater” he replied with a wink. You laughed at his pun but blushed too. You don’t think Sans ever really changed his clothes combination. “wait downstairs, i’m gonna change my clothes” he said to your surprise. You obliged and went downstairs.
     It took him 20 minutes for him to change. When you saw him you held in your laughter because all he did was change the color of the sweater he was wearing from blue to green. “You look...pfft..good” you complimented him anyway. He had an even bigger grin on his face, now you knew it was done purposely. “are you going Green with envy over my great sweater” You both laughed.
  You both held hands walking over to Grillbys new place. You also got a few strange looks from monsters, and humans, as you walked by. You didn’t care, you had a new place to live, a new boyfriend, and not a care in the world. Apparently you stopped caring about where you walked because you ended up tripping. Sans, thank god, obviously caught you. “do you really want to go on a trip instead of too grillbys? maybe during fall” You smiled as he helped you gain balance. “Come on Sans, we're here” you said as you both entered Grillbys. Suddenly everything in Grillbys went silent, and all eyes where on you two holding hands.
“Finally, who asked” Grillby said to break the silence, suddenly some laughter and everyone went back to talking. “me” Sans silently said, slightly embarrassed. “No need to be like that Sans. Come come i have two seats here at the bar with me” said Grillby. “Hey Grillby” you said. “Hows it going [y/n]. He treating you good” You laugh. “Of course Grillby” “grillby, what do you think, that i’m gonna Mandible-handle her” Sans chimes in with his pun. Grillby rolls his eyes. “What do you two want to eat by the way?” “[y/n] what do you want” Sans asks. “I’ll just get a burger” “make it two grillby” “No problem”
  You just finished eating and talking to Sans and Grillby when you realize you’ve been there for three hours. “Sans lets head back home, I want to relax a little bit” you said. “no prob’. Here Grillby, Keep the change” Sans handed him the money for the burgers. As you two head back home you were enjoying the clouds rolling bye. “HUMAN AND SANS, IT SEEMS AS THOUGH WE CAN WALK HOME TOGETHER” You flinched. “Hi Papyrus” “hey bro.” It was a silent walk for about a minute till Papyrus said something. “[Y/N] I SEE YOU HOLDING MY BROTHERS HAND, IS HE INJURED?” You laugh. “no paps, i’m fine, my hand just got Bone-ly” Papyrus sigjs and rolled his eyes. Sans pun also caused Papyrus to not ask any more questions .
  At home, you went straight for the room to relax. You changed into some sweatpants and put Sans’ jacket back where it was. Then you tossed yourself on your bed and turned on the T.V. Sans had in his room. It was already on cartoons, so you decide to keep it there. When you got home Sans said he was gonna spend time with his brother, you didn’t mind. While watching T.V. you started dozing off till you actually just fell asleep. You didn’t wake up till you heard the door open, however, you kept your eyes closed just listening. Suddenly you felt something just fall on top of you. Your eye open quickly to find Sans face in front of yours.
  “Saaaannns” you half-heartily yelled. “Cmon” “what.” He just had a big smile on his face. You rolled sideways, causing him to fall off. You snickered. “that wasn’t Humerus.” “Now it is” you said in the the middle of laughing, he laughed along with you. He got up and shut the T.V. off. “I was watching that” you say. “well i have something else to show you” Sans replied heading over to the closet. You watched him get something that was hidden underneath his pile or clothes. “close your eyes.” You closed your eyes.....partly. “all the way” he chuckled “and give me your hand, palm up.” You did. You felt something be put in your hand. “ok,now open” You opened your eyes to a beautiful necklace that had the first letter of your name on it. “Sans, Its beautiful” you said and hugged him, kissing him on the forehead. “just like you” he said as he blushed slightly.
  “its getting late, lets go downstairs before my brother runs up here asking if we are going to eat his food” Sans said. “Ok, but help me put this on first” you said motioning to the necklace Sans has recently given to you. After putting it on, you both head downstairs and sat in front of the T.V. “YOU ARE BOTH LAZY,THERE IS FOOD READY, THE GREAT PAPYRUS HAS LEARNED A NEW RECIPE.” Both you and Sans looked at each other. You both knew exactly how his ‘new’ recipes tasted. “sorry bro, i just don’t think i could Stomach eating more food, i just ate a Skele-ton at Grillbys” Sans replied, you chuckled. “I’ll have some Papyrus” you said unsure about what you just got yourself into. “HUMAN PREPARE FOR THE GREAT PAPYRUS’ NEW RECIPE” he yells coming out with a plate of Mac and Cheese. 'This is simple, he could in no way mess this up’ you thought. You took a bite and scrunched your face a bit. “NYEH HEH HEH, YOUR FACE IS SAYING THAT THE FOOD IS GREAT, NO NEED FOR YOUR WORDS HUMAN” Sans chuckled. “Thanks Papyrus” You said quickly dumping it in the hidden trash next to the sofa when his back was turned.
  *yaaaawn* “tired?” “ A bit.” “come lets head upstairs” Both you and Sans head upstairs. As soon as you enter the room, you toss yourself onto your bed. “come here” Sans said as he patted his bed. You get up and toss yourself on his bed. You both laugh. He puts his arms around you leans on you. “i never thought someone like you, would like someone like me” he said. “Says who” you replied. “Tibia honest with you, i really like you, like a lot” he had turned and whispered into your ear. Suddenly there was a slight blue glow in the room. You looked at him, his left eye glowing. He quickly shut his eye and his white pin-pricks of light were back. “come, lets sleep, i’m a bit tired” he said as the light in his eyes disappeared. “Good night Sans” you said, a little worried. You’ll ask him about the eye tomorrow night.
