The semi lit face imerging from utter darkness, the mysterious facial expression, and teh intertwined forms of fingers... "WOW" pretty much covers it.

Great use of contrasts. I do think the over exposure really work in youyr favor here adding even more contrasts and add to the slightly religious theme with the praying pose. Light from above is a strong symbol of the divine.

Disgusted? Of course not. This is a beautiful shot. I love the lighting/tone - makes for a very comforting and moving picture. The word Solace comes to mind - but I don't exactly know where you were ^_^
