Here's the story

When his father realized the woman that birthed Alex was a human mage who transformed herself into an angel, he went insane and tried to destroy every memory of her, including his own son. However, he only managed to cut out his eye before Alex escaped. However, the blade he used was cursed, and the wound never would heal. It still resonates with pain, and drips blood on occasion. Thats why he wears the medical patch, to sop it up. Pictured there is the cursed knife. The only way to get rid of the curse and close the wound completely is to find the original owner/creator of the blade, who is unknown.
