If you want to read the map, click download, please.I must be crazy for doing this. This is a full map of the Azure Wheel galaxy and the locations within it. This is an ongoing project... I will add new locations to the map as I create them or remember them.
This is just a map of where things are located. If you want to know more information about certain locations, just ask!

Relative to being a spiral galaxy I could see it being modeled after the Andromeda or Milky Way Galaxies, except the number of spiraling arms. Then again this is your own dark mythologies and universes, nice look nonetheless.

And of course the minor detail that the Milky Way is a bar-spiral galaxy and the Azure Wheel isn't.

Yeah more or less though if their is one thing that is strange the amount of habitable worlds that are at the galactic center of Azure. Even if theoretically it is thought the habitable in reality has been questioned, this is her universe.

Until it gets 125 Mb in size as any type of compressed image file type, you are not crazy. Once you cross that threshold, go fetch the nice people with the white jackets. :>

What happened to Basteth? it says '10. Former Location of Planet Basteth' did something destroy it?

Planet Basteth was once a central mining hub and trading outpost for the Ultimarian species. Shortly after the beginning of the war, it was bombed, all valuable minerals were destroyed and rendered uninhabitable by their enemies who were trying to cripple them by cutting off supply lines to their homeworld.
Even now, six years after the end of the war... Basteth is pretty much still a useless rock. The destruction of Basteth is a great tragedy and a blow that the Ultimarian species will probably take a long time to recover from... if they ever do recover from it.

Yep, the Ultimarian-Othoth war.

The Othoth were once a neutral race not of the galactic alliance. They mostly kept to themselves other then a few trade routes with other races. One day they simply attacked the Ultimarians without warning or provocation. The Ultimarians are a somewhat peaceful race that don't generally like wars and fighting, but they were still launched into a war for their own survival. They were fighting the Othoth simply to keep their species alive while the Othoth just wanted to wipe the Ultimarians from existance.
To this day, the Ultimarians still don't know why they attacked... and any captured Othoth that were interrogated either don't know why they attacked or they simply aren't telling.
There are many theories that Ultimarians have about why they were attacked...
Some more religious individuals feel like they had lost the essence of the Lifestream and went insane.
Others think that it was a war over resources.
Others still think that they were being controlled by a brain virus, but this cannot be proven.
I know exactly why they attacked, but I'm not telling.
It would be a big time spoiler for one part of the Intrepid story.
