A Birthday present for ! : DDAt last, something done on time X'DD
I hope, I'm not wrong with the date and I hope you'll like it *v* I drew AllenLenalee but they turned out a bit worse than I expected OTL|||
I wanted to create some sort of victorian atmosphere which I miss so much in the recent DGM chapters TT^TT
Ahhh, whatever..at least I tried X"D
Too much birthdays are coming this winter x_x I so regret I can't draw gifts for everyone I want to, but I hope my friends don't get offended OTL||| I still have GREAT plans and I feel so enthusiastic to draw everything I'm going to *A*
Inked traditionally (Faber-Castell ecco pigment 0.1), edited and screentoned in Photoshop CS2.

Indeed, the latest chapters were pretty much..err 'not DGM I knew before' for me T__T The best parts have already passed I think TTvTT Pity, but there's nothing we can do T__T
Let's just remember how great it once was and reread the best chapters :3

DGM stopped being The DGM ever since returning from hiatus. Like, chapters 187 and onwards, I already consider them neo-DGM. Which is definitely not listed on my "favourites series" list. Only Wisely there makes me feel better and he barely is showm /sob
Well, there's always rereading the old stuff. And fan works β₯ I've been actually having quite some joy from reading those, and I guess that's what I'll stick to - while reading the 'official' DGM only for the sake of witnessing the screwed-up ending and butchery of my favourite characers;

i really know what you mean about the victorian feel of DGM that the monthly chapters have lacked, but this practically fixes it singly handedly xD i love allens had, makes him look like the earl. again, i love it

I love your inking and the precise lines so much <33 Brilliant clothes designs. Lenalee's rose hat it's so lovely, wish I had one too * v * oh and Allen's top hat fits so good with the whole theme and his British stripped coat it's so stylish too = v =
Great detail add at Allen's newspaper, he's reading "The Times" hehehe 8DDD oh and are you using Gaussian Blur to obtain that overall soft effect * v * ???

Ahah, yup, I thought "The Times" is the most British thing ever, so it would fit XDD
And, yeah, exactly!! 8DD Congrats on guessing XDD I often duplicate some certain layer (or the overall picture), set its opacity to...nah, to whatever percentage fits there XD and use Gaussian blur ^o^ The soft look it gives is just great for some pictures *A*
Or I sometimes use just a large brush with a very low opacity if I want some parts "softer" ^v^
