Just thought I'd post an image of the latest Drone created for my Ar'ka Sept.This is my take on a Plasma Drone. Currently, it's bitz consist of a Drone Head, 2 Shield Drone antennae, a Markerlight, side fins from a Sniper Drone Rifle and a Plasma Muzzle.
The thought process behind this one is giving it the necessary shielding to withstand the intense heat radiated from the plasma burst - which consequentially will also give it a bit of protection from enemy fire...but it can't absorb the same punishment as a Shield Drone. Also, I figure the side fins, at least towards the rear, could allow heat ventilation after each shot, and the markerlight has canisters on it, to give it the true plasma gun look
All that remains is to paint the Drone in my Ar'ka scheme. Any thoughts on the look of this?

Dang with all your specialist drones you might as well have a earth caste battlesuit with all the weapon drones around him. Great conversion by the way

I'm glad I don't play the game, cause I would probably be incredibly aggravated with the limitations imposed on players of their respective races. I know you need to balance, but there are some major loopholes to exploit from my understanding.
But I've got to respect the modders who can make game legal units.

Yea, not easy, but it's not too bad.
Note that large point battles involve lots of troops and various number of shooting and assulting. So lots of dice roles and such movements and measuring is required. Thus as we don't agree to the limitations, it's to speed up a long standing game.
