Amanda was thrown into the dirt with a dull thud, landing face first, she wiped her face clean, spitting out a leaf that had nearly entered her mouth, the second or two of respite nearly making her forget what was happening.

Mainly, that her and Elena were under attack, and that someone was crawling towards her.

It was then the full terror of what was happening set in.

She stared into the mans eyes, or rather, where his eyes should be, glowing green, no, blazing green, no pupils, irises, just green, endless, burning, unmoving.

She let out a scream, trying to rise to her feet, only to find a hand on her thigh, she froze, still unable to take her eyes off of the green, getting closer and closer and closer....
