Kind of inspired by my eldest sister who likes to prevent me from hugging her by poking out her long, pointy fingers to skewer me. Incidentally the queen is her favourite character. Hmmm.Very proud of how I drew Caula Voria, pregnant with Prince Ebel. Uriel Septim doesn’t look that great, but ah well. I was just thinking about how excited and intrigued he would feel knowing that there’s a baby of his on the way, whether it’s by his prickly wife or by a timid scullery maid used for his gratification. Even if he isn’t the best dad, his love for his children is his only true redeeming quality. After all, if he didn’t truely care for all his children, the story with his bastard babe Martin would be going in vastly different directions.

Will you include Calaxes in the story? Uriel's other illegitimate son who wasn't a secret. He even got to be a priest or something because of his Emperor dad. Or some big shot, I don't exactly remember. His mother surely didn't push Uriel away when she was pregnant is what I'm trying to say here.

Calaxes’ relationship with his dad was complicated and a whole other story that would stuff this one too much. I’m already using Geldall as the estranged son. But I do imagine that, unlike Gemile, his mother was more than happy to have a royal’s child. I always imagine she was some romantic dalliance of his wreckless youth who he happened to get pregnant. Someone in his noble social circle but not quite a worthy bride for the soon-to-be-emperor, and they both just moved on. In my non-au head canon, Martin’s mother was the only one he became truly close to.
