I was getting into my musical spirit again, and at the same time I was feeling motivated to draw some more. I haven't actually showed Hysarian singing yet, so I figured that this was the perfect time to show him doing so. The little excerpt on the top left corner are actual lyrics from the song "Denied" by Sonic Syndicate (<--friggan LOVE that band! <3 Please check them out!) At the time, I was watching the music video to the song (which can be seen here ). Suddenly, I was imagining Hysarian taking the role of the lead singer. If you watch the video and then look at this/vice versa, it should all make sense. I couldn't get the idea out of my mind, so I just had to put it down on paper and draw it out! And this is the result of that idea. I'm proud to say that I love how this came out. I'm so proud of it! :3

Well...
The video uses quick, fast shots and angles and movements to depict the band looking bad-ass behind a still colour background. This video idea has been done many many times by many many artists; but if it's edited right and you/they can be flashy then the formula usually does not grow tired and these guys did an all right job. (Slamming the mic on the ground is a classic move. C'mon let's face it XD)
As for the song, again, I've heard this message been done over and over again and this particular genre of Metal is not exactly my cup of tea either; even though I do dig Bullet for my Valentine, Marilyn Manson, and (just recently) Black Veil Brides.
In the end it was ok, nothing that made me go "Wow" or anything like that. Just okey dokey. XP

You like Black Veil Brides? That's awesome! I actually saw them in concert back in January 2013. Yeah, I'm also into Bullet for my Valentine, Marilyn Manson, Bring Me The Horizon and such.

Yeah I like BVB because they manage to balance between 70's and 80's-esque metal (You can tell that they're influenced by KISS and Motley Crue) and (I guess people call it this) screamo. & they seem like nice guys too

Yeah, BVB is awesome in lots of ways. The concert I went to was a kick-ass, wicked fun experience! I ended up meeting these two people from the concert. They gave me their numbers and everything, which i thought was a little odd

XD Ah yes... the ol' power-off-out-of-nowhere-and-then-comes-back-on-and-then-resume-playing-like-nothing-happened trick; even though that wasn't planned (we assume lol). The show must go on!
& yeah, you're bound to meet people who want to immediately know you even though you both just finished listening to one of your favourite artists live and are both pumped up as hell. XD It's like: "OMG you're my long lost brother!! Number? Mine is..."
I'm glad they put on a kick-ass show and that you had fun. Frig, I would've too
