Happy 30th birthday to Sonic the hedgehog! Man, crazy how time passes. I myself have been a fan for 11 years now already; I have so many memories of the franchise, from binging on Sonic X back in middle school upon first discovering its existence, playing (as of now) over 210+ hours of SA2B (Mainly for the chao, heh), reading some of the comics on occasion, watching the OVA every once in a blue moon, to even going on Tumblr every Sunday night back in 2011 to 2013 just to look at all the popular Sonic blogs out there for all the epic art and save it to my first cell phone lol; there have been lots of great memories, and have certainly impacted me a lot growing up. Here's to 30 great years and many more to come! Never stop running, and never stop smiling.

Oh, and that's a tribal roman numeral 30 behind him there, that being three X's:

I kinda can't help but feel like a bit of a loser though for having this finished 2 and a half weeks past the actual date of Sonic's 30th (June 23rd), since I had this sketched and planned out back in the beginning of June. Gotta love having work take up a lot of your time, mental fatigue, apartment hunting, as well as even falling victim to an apartment scam where me and my girlfriend both lost a good sum of money each. Yeah, not good  But hey, better late than never, right?

I need to get more active on here again. I miss the good old days when I'd always have my inbox nearly empty, always being proactive on here. Hopefully I can prove myself back up on here again and get back into drawing more often. Gotta love this stage of adulthood  I still miss the old layout of my page here too, all the custom boxes and widgets and backgrounds. Dunno why dA chose to completely overhaul this site for the worse, but what can you do :/

But nonetheless, enjoy!
