Description
Otto Octavius was Norman Osborn's right hand man at Oscorp, with the two having been friends since college. When Norman became obsessed with genetic engineering, Otto feared that would be the end of his mechanical engineering, but found he still had a place with Norman, helping him design what would become the Glider and some of the Goblin tech, along with gear for the Scorpion and others. The use of four mechanical arms aided Octavius in his work, but the birth of the Green Goblin meant the sabotage and destruction of Octavius' lab. Left for dead, he was found barely alive, with his mechanical tentacles fused to his spinal cord and his eyes damaged. Furious over what had happened, Doctor Octopus sought revenge on Norman Osborn and Spider-Man, the two he blamed for his condition. He also sought to continue his research, believing he could show the world his worth with his inventions, and prove he was no mere man.
Due to his damaged vision, Doc Ock wears a specialized visor that is slowly repairing his eyes and lets him see what his tentacles do with their built-in cameras. His metal arms can extend, tear steel apart, withstand great damage, can alter themselves into buzzsaws, fire lasers and tasers, and yet are precise enough to perform far more delicate tasks.

The best Doc Ock micro to date, by far.
Glad I could help in any capacity, especially seeing him done.

I'd have to say these are the best tentacles on any Doc Ock micro I've seen.

Those arms are outstanding! Love the claws, they look vicious. And the individual segments of the arms are very well done, I know how tedious making those things curve can be.
The body though is equally great, the pose with the dangling legs is perfect. And I love the details in the jump suit (great colour scheme on it too) and of course... the double chin, spot on.

Tedious is an understatement, but I'm super pleased with the end result, and I'm glad you like him, too. I'm glad you appreciate the subtle touches here and there. It's high praise anytime you stop by. Thanks, Alex!

Awesome! Sounds like you took inspiration from The Spectacular Spider-Man, The Ultimate Spider-Man Comics and the recent game.

That's exactly right! I really wanted to pick from the best, while not sticking too closely to any one portrayal. Thanks!
