made me think of a what-if scenario where X and Zero end up in the Battle Network timeline/dimension and they transfer their AI onto the net.
For whatever reason, Zero.EXE fuses with Zero but the conflicting personalities causes them to go psychotic, leading X to battle his friend

Idk I think Zero in a AAA "Metal Gear Rising" style game would be great idea. For a 2D Mega Man X game I would choose the devs of "Mega Man X: Currupted" they are doing an amazing job and the music is just so good.
