So this is Nikoli Argos III in his most human-like form. I recently redrew this sheet so that his face resembled that of some one very, very dear to me. <3

This form is known as Jinteki. Almost like a satyr, except canine rather than goat.

For ages I've always imagined his natural fur colour in this form more a sort of auburn colour. But as I was working on the sheet, I just felt that a more typical grey worked better.
Yes, he's not naturally purple. The strange fluke about the Yajumi changing or dying their hair as Jinteki, it affects their entire coat in both forms. Hence why his fur becomes purple and white when he shifts.

He has tattoos, as in Yajumi culture (and in many other Shi'Imoran cultures) they are very important and are believed to hold magic properties. Though, unlike with hair colour, the tattoos in no way show on their fur in the other forms. The swirly tattoo on his right arm is symbolic of storms, while the one on his other arm is like a royal emblem.

Lastly, he is indeed wearing some make up. In Shi'Imora there isn't any real separation between how males should decorate themselves or how females should. All adornment is generally, unisex. It's really only in the small populace of humanity and a few species or tribes that there have been set differences between what men should wear and what females should dress in, etc.

STORY/PERSONALITY: Nikoli was born as a pure-blood Yajumi (was never human) and was son of the king. However he grew up in modesty, as Yajumi royalty is not about absolute power and riches, something his father maintained and made sure he knew. He's a kind soul and remains so, though he has suffered much loss in his short lifetime.
He was in love once and nearly hand-fasted but his partner, Blaze, was murdered at the hands feral vampyres. His father too, was murdered in his sleep. Because of his loss he has learned to keep a brave face and not let his emotions or the past control him. Though it is often a face of calmness and sincerity, he does have a silly and playful side when in the right company.
His nature is of modest kindness and compassion and is always willing to step out on a limb or even endanger his life in order to help those around him. He does however, hold his secrets as his own and opens up to very few.
Several years after having lost Blaze and his father, he met Dr. Hira and Asha (UV) and became close to both, soon vowing to protect UV and look after her for all the compassion and understanding she showed him.
