Commission for M. Carpenter of his character Nalfemi.Having been on a journey for sometime, I imagine. She stops to check her scroll before night sets in.

is the background a photo or digital painting? either way i must applaud you — most of the time that turns out garish when the foreground and background are too different, but you've done a stellar job of making sure they match up. :3 beautiful.

Thanks, was difficult to do.. since i did all the coloring & lighting on the character was done in markers and the bg was done seperately in photoshop. All before I even properly finished sketching the character
