"Make it stop. Please make it stop...", Jonathan sobbed, his eyeliner running over his face, while the rain still hadn't wiped away all the blood from his trembling lips.
He pressed his shaking body against Velkan's, helplessly clinging to the wet shirt of the Lycan while the rain poured down on them, soaking both of them.
"I almost killed him... I couldn't stop... please help me..."
Velkan didn't know what to say. He knew the stories about the hunger, he knew how many young vampires succumbed to it. He was one of those who hunted these lost souls and, if there wasn't another way, killed them.
And now he was holding this crying young man and he asked himself how it had come this far. Where did he go astray, letting Jonathan far too close? He didn't know the answer, he just knew he couldn't let him go. He had to help him.
