How wonderful to see a painted version of a 3D character, as it is usually the other way around. I'm quite tempted to ask hielorei to paint my Jack the Cat character after seeing this

His commissions are closed at the moment but he's really good and fun to work with. I mean, this is a 10 dollar commission where I had to pick from a set of poses and still he provided me with a preview and everything. Many other artists just slap the final piece in your face, especially at low-level rates like this.

lol I did start 3D back then because it seemed easier than learning to draw but it turns out I spent the past 10 years improving my work with the medium after all. I keep telling myself to practice drawing but I never really started.

These are great. The hair's great. Β You obviously know what you're doing. I can see you've planned them and if you didn't then you've got a really good eye. You should draw more. I find drawing so rewarding but I am out of practice, the last thing I did was shameful.
