"Are you okay?" Castor asked without any judgement in his voice. Jonathan knew that the Kelpie could tell how tensed up he was. Velkan would have mocked him relentlessly. Probably said something about how his arms were covered in tattoos and he was only getting a small one.
"I'm fine."
"Okay."
For once, Jonathan was grateful that Cas wasn't a man of too many words and definitely empathetic enough to understand how Jonathan felt a bit embarrassed about the fact that he wasn't able to handle the sensation of getting a tattoo as easily as he had thought he would.
Don't flinch. Eyes front. Don't flinch. Jonathan kept repeating this mantra in his mind. At least, he would surprise Velkan with this.

I know, I know! He's not wearing gloves and this is hardly the most sanitized environment for a tattoo but keep in mind that both these guys are supernatural to some degree so let's cut them some slack *lol* Or me. I tried giving Castor gloves but it really didn't look that good. And yay for using a pulp sci-fi raygun as a stand-in for a tattoo machine.
Anyway, meet Castor. He's StarEyedOcelet 's boy and he's now officially friends with Velkan and Jon. Despite his appearance, he is endearingly shy and soft-spoken. Sometimes, I wonder how he manages to deal with Jon and Velkan. Especially Velkan.
PS: He wore a shirt before but Ocelet suggested he wouldn't, hehe. The tattoos all have some kind of meaning, especially, of course, the Kelpie.
