Inspired by the song "Carpe Noctem" from Dance of the Vampires. I waited for this scene for so long.
It was a bit difficult to convey but I hope it is recognizable that Elijah is turning the dead Alan around with his foot while stepping over him. This is a direct homage to one of the sexiest scenes in the musical. I start drooling only thinking about it
The Latin text is coming out of nowhere like on the page before, I made the bubbles different and now even thinned them out to make that clear

I guess Elijah is screwing with Alan's head here since he cannot really know him this well after only meeting him shortly so maybe Elijah is just acting out some fantasies

He lost his lover by seeing him killed by his own father so don't judge the guy too hard

Erm, but... but... 
Victor, Elijah's vampire father, allowed him to stay with his sister in the end and they didn't leave each others side for centuries. Elijah's real father commited suicide and Elijah never forgave himself for killing his mother.
This here more or less is an alternate version which, like you already noticed, is heavily based on Dance of the Vampires so Elijah acts rather different from his rea character here. But I'm planning some scenes which make him more likable and less like the pure villain

Well I give him the benefit of the doubt...but if I ever ran into him don't count on me not to stake him and then take his head off for good measure.
I do grant that he certainly has one hell of a messed up childhood/past though. I still don't have to like him very much though.
And regardless of who I like or dislike, your story(ies) are all very interesting and fascinating pieces.
