Description
Night time sharpens heightens each sensation...Darkness wakes and stirs imagination
Silently the senses abandon their defences
Helpless to resist the notes I write
For I compose the music of the night...
Slowly, gently night unfurls its splendour.
Grasp it, sense it, tremulous and tender
Hearing is believing music is deceiving
Hard as lightning soft as candlelight
dare you trust the music of the night...
Close your eyes for your eyes will only tell the truth
And the truth isn't what you want to see.
In the dark it is easy to pretend
that the truth is what it ought to be.
Softly, deftly music shall caress you...
Hear it, feel it secretly possess you...
Open up your mind let your fantasies unwind
in this darkness which you know you cannot fight
- the darkenss of the music of the night...
Close your eyes start a journey through a strange new world!
Leave all thoughts of the world you knew before!
Close your eyes and let music set you free...
Only then can you belong to me...
Floating, falling sweet intoxication!
Touch me, trust me savour each sensation...
Let the dream begin let your darker side give in
to the power of the music that I write
- the power of the music of the night...
You alone can make my song take flight
- help me make the music of the night...

Of all your older-styled works - the ones you haven't reworked to make them look like drawings - this is the most visually stunning. The level of detail is extraordinary - you can actually see the hairs on the arms and the fibres in the shirt. The lighting of both figures is equally perfect. The expression on the victim's face is a finely judged mixture of "peaceful" and "entranced", with just a hint of fulfilled pleasure. The vampire's pose, with his hair falling down over his eyes as if he's hiding his gaze from the world, is remorseful and tender, and the way he's cradling the body is gentle and maybe even loving, but the tiny glimpse of his teeth and the blood around his mouth and on the victim's throat are a reminder that he's still a dangerous predator.
Is this Elijah transforming Tyron into a vampire?
On the whole, I much prefer your new style, but this is really superb

A very nice render.
As many times as I have seen and listen to the music of "Phantom of the Opera"...never once have I thought of vampires.
I really like how you depicted the song.

Cute shirt I like the soft lighting here, the skin came out pretty good, especially the arm of the bitten guy looks very realistic. Regarding the blood, I think there should be more smears than splatters if the vampire is nuzzling against the victims neck.
