A simple job overseas, that's what Velkan Ionescu thought the intended short trip to Japan would turn out to be. Come in and show those fresh-faced ever so polite Japanese agents of LGN how it's done properly. A case of missing people didn't seem like much and Velkan had never been one to be scared by local folklore. Behind every rural legend usually waited something rather mundane: A cult here, some rogue elements there, nothing special.
However, pride comes before the fall, something Velkan learned rather quickly after finding himself spirited away and lost in a nightmare of bloody rituals and angry ghosts. Lost in the darkness and next in line for a gruesome ceremony Velkan's hopes of seeing Jonathan and Dick ever again dwindle.

Another piece for my Japanese story idea inspired by Fatal Frame along with this one:
I started both during my absence caused by the work on my paper for school and finally got around to giving it the finishing touches.
