STEVERICE commented on a 2016 picture of Killian and that set this off. Small remake with more vibrant eyes, several other tweaks and more dynamic hair. Also armpit hair, which I think underlines his satyr-like appearance. Killian went through a lot of changes before I discarded him as a main character altogether since he didn't really fit the narrative. However, I think I'm going to bring him back as a semi-villain. Not really malevolent, more like a trickster who relishes in causing chaos and hence has a few run-ins with Velkan and Jonathan. For now, enjoy
PS: He's wearing the leather pants which are by now Jon's trademark. That shows how old this piece is...

I didnβt know he had gods roaming around lol
Iβve tried to inject some into my writing but I canβt do it in a way that hasnβt been overdone. Mine kinda come out like Percy Jackson knock offs Just without the Greek mythos. I try to use gods sparingly as to keep their divinity from appearing to easily modernized

Killian is the only one looking like that, though, at least so far. I had decided at some point that I would mix Lovecraftian Old Gods into the mix as villains they have to fight. The mind-manipulating, tentacle-swinging versions with too many eyes and mouths kind. Kilian started out as an incubus, then he became and Old God who has been forced into a human body (which then grew horns) and finally I made it less complicated and he's actually a shapeshifting deity who prefers to look gorgeous over tentacles
He was once supposed to be part of the team, even become Dick's boyfriend, but somehow he didn't really match. He's too complicated as a character to be just support for Velkan and Jon. So I abandoned him completely at first before reconsidering him as a recurring villain character who isn't really evil. More of a trickster who loves to cause chaos.Β
