So we were working on some practice-newspaper, and I was asked to draw something eastery for the second page. Since drawing is more fun than sitting around watching videos, I gladly obliged.

Its important to have certain steps you take, so you dont feel lost when you start a pic. I start the shading by first drawing a sketch, then roughly blocking in the largest shadows with a light brush and starting to blend + add some interesting shadowing texture.
I need to remind myself every time I start a new picture, since often I go "How did I ever paint anything?" before realizing how to continue.
