Here’s Rann to start with.

He’s not actually a tarspawn at all, he just takes the form of one because he created them -> acting as member of the species.
Tarspawn do not revere him as their creator (they revere Maamo more) and accept him more as just a weird type of officer.Humans think of him as an insane warlock that somehow has to do with the tarspawns’ appearance. (theories range from demonic portals to failed magical experiments)
As the Sphere of Change Rann feels a compulsive obligation to make changes to the world. When obeyed, it gives an endorphin-high. Effect on mood is proportional to the influence of the action. Ignored it causes withdrawal effects which in turn cause obsessive an neurotic behaviours. Not very good times.
When fighting Rann rarely takes the same form twice, however the style is rather similar to the example. Fightstyle is uncomplicated and berserking.

So he makes a form of drug that makes it addictive to obey him basically? Did I read that right?
All his forms are interesting and well designed. I think I like the officer form the best.

I must have written the text in a super weird way...
It's more like a personal dependency caused by his status as the Sphere of Change. It's kind of like a failsafe codified into the powers of changing the physical world so that a deity wouldn't just get the ability and forever sit on their ass not doing anything. The magic is subjective, so it actually has its own measurements of what constitutes a 'change' in the world. If the wielder of the powers doesn't make any differences happen, they start having severe negative effects until they start pulling their weight again.
