eeuuuuuUUUUUUGHHHHH

so, uh, been a while since last update I guess! part of that had to do with me wanting to catch up a buffer and all... buuut most of it because I really did not want to post this thing. yeah so fun fact: this was the very first part I actually laid out and drew (then worked backwards from there), and it's, uh. it's pretty obvious. I actually have a buffer for these parts, and having just finished part 5 (at the time of this posting) and by now getting a much better idea of what I'm doing, looking at this is absolutely murdering me. lot more awkward paneling and placement than usual, trying my damnedest to learn how the hell to use photoshop's text tool, and pretty evident I'm still getting used to drawing certain characters (leon why does your face keep shifting) and establishing a style. I did go back and fix some of the "worse" stuff and moved around a bunch of terribly placed dialogue boxes (or tried to), at least. man this is just embarrassing stop reading this description and revel in the FRIENDSHIP

EDIT 3/4/15 HELLO EVERYTHING ABOVE IS MOOT. that is because you are now looking at the redrawn version of chapter 2! I am fully aware that it is incredibly easy to hate one's early pages and have the urge to redraw everything, so let me just assure you that this is the ONLY chapter that will be happening in....... as much as I hate looking at all my other early chapters too lmao. just, not as much as this one, since it was the very first on I drew. I'm sure even just going back to fix this one will put some people off but I just. I couldn't handle it I'm sorry.

I didn't want to get too caught up in fixing ~everything~, so I basically only cleaned and changed dialogue stuff, redrew the major characters, and spruced up the colors slightly (look at that minty sky). unfortunately I'm still stuck with stuff like some of the terrible paneling, but oh well!! again, I didn't want to get TOO hung up on fixing things here (besides if I make it look too nice then it just makes all the chapters around it look worse so :V)

if, for whatever strange reason, you just REEEALLLLY want to see the old version, you can find it here and revel in all the incredibly dopey faces as you please.
