ZEPHYR GETwell, first gym done. and boy oh boy am I sure bad at fight scenes! idk maybe I'm being too hard on myself, but I do have a lot of things I'm personnaly iffy about with this page. doesn't help that we're still in the stage where I have to figure out how to make TACKLE and LEER look interesting and dynamic... but I suppose it's all part of the learning process. so hopefully as time goes on and I get more practice, they get to a point where I'm more satisfied with 'em!
on another note, when it comes to side characters, I usually have very vague ideas about their dialogue and design, so Archer and Rich I pretty much came up with on the spot when I made these parts. now that we're done with them, I'm actually pretty disappointed to see them go. Archer especially was such a delight to both write and draw, the crazy goon. maybe I'll give into temptation and keep them around for side stuff, who knows! either way, let's be assured Archer will forever be passionately screaming into infinity, bless his soul.............

Man, that was beautiful. I've got a gym battle coming up, I hope I can get even a 1/5th of the actionawesomeness of this in it when I have to have a go! The leer is really good actually, it's subtle but justifies the sudden role-reversal->dramatic victory.

pff, it's kinda funny you say that about his hair, since I had a pidgeotto in a very old blue nuzlocke that was actually named Phoenix W :B maybe it's just me and pidgeottos
also, nope, didn't get a catch :< that's... honestly gonna be a bit of a running theme for a while, since it turns out I'm (relatively) good at keeping my mons alive, but I also keep accidentally killing my first encounters, haha whoops........
