Description LONG TIME NO SEE. there hasn't been an update for a while because after doing an overview of my story notes again recently, I basically made a last minute decision to rearrange the order of things a bit. which means even though my buffer's real big right now and the next 3 or so chapters are ready to go, I now have to go back and draw a completely new thing in between, lol. SO I hope this little info dump will suffice for now!!

Ancestors were briefly mentioned before and I haven't really had a chance to get much into what they are since then. so here's a little thing that goes into some more info and details and all! it's not really required reading, but the whole idea of an Ancestor will become more important eventually, and I wanted to make things a little more clear for when the time comes, along with some extra details.

RANDOM TIDBITS I FORGOT TO INCLUDE:
    - Ancestors not only pass down abilities and skillsets, but also occasionally traits as well. for example: all those who share Siegfried's ancestor are born blind. the slowpoke people are born with slower reflexes and reaction time, which improves upon evolution.
    - people can have certain other skill sets depending on the the type of... "being" I guess their ancestor is. someone whose Ancestor is Kyogre, for example, may be more innately skilled at swimming and actually moving through water. Leon doesn't have this benefit, despite his Ancestor being a water type, because Suicune is not actually a creature based in water, compared to Kyogre who actually, you know, swims around in the ocean and all. not to say these kinds of people suck at that particular skill-- the ability just may not come as naturally!
- even though it's a legendary, Arceus is nobody's Ancestor. this is because it's the original creator of the universe and has NO TIME for this silly "giving power" nonsense

Thanks! There's so many gijinka headcanons I've seen that are really neat-- I'm glad you enjoy this one though! :'3
